UK: У статті узагальнено зарубіжний досвід передових країн світу та визначено ефективні підходи до розкриття та подання інформації про діяльність суб’єктів господарювання у фінансовій звітності з метою запровадження в практику підприємств України для розширення інформаційних можливостей відповідно
до потреб внутрішніх та зовнішніх користувачів. Досліджено відмінності у підходах до змісту фінансових звітів та розглянуто склад основних форм фінансової звітності у передових країнах світу. Виявлено, що національна практика складання фінансової звітності переважно відповідає міжнародним стандартам, тому всі позитивні тенденції та хороший досвід є доцільними до використання в практичній діяльності підприємств України, що, своєю чергою, поліпшить позицію країни в міжнародних економічних рейтингах.
RU: В статье обобщен зарубежный опыт передовых стран мира и определены эффективные подходы к раскрытию и представлению информации о деятельности субъектов хозяйствования в финансовой отчетности с целью внедрения в практику предприятий Украины для расширения информационных возможностей соответственно нуждам внутренних и внешних пользователей. Исследованы различия в подходах к содержанию финансовых отчетов и рассмотрен состав основных форм финансовой отчетности в передовых странах мира. Обнаружено, что национальная практика составления финансовой отчетности в основном соответствует международным стандартам, поэтому все положительные тенденции и хороший опыт подходят для использования в практической деятельности предприятий Украины, что, в свою очередь, улучшит позиции страны в международных экономических рейтингах.
EN: The article summarizes the international experience of the advanced countries of the world and identifies effective approaches to the disclosure and presentation of information on the activities of business entities in financial reporting in order to introduce the practice of Ukrainian enterprises to expand information capabilities, respectively, to internal and external users. The differences in the approaches to the composition and content of financial reports were investigated, and the composition of the main financial reporting forms in the advanced countries of the world:
USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan was considered. The results of the analysis show that
there is no single approach to the composition of mandatory financial reporting forms in foreign countries. It was also
found that the national practice of drawing up financial statements basically complies with international standards, therefore all positive trends and good experience are appropriate for use in the practice of Ukrainian enterprises,
which, in turn, will improve Ukraine’s position in international economic ratings. Therefore, following the example of the United States and Canada, public financial statements should be used as the cheapest but most effective advertising of an enterprise. The UK should take the experience of preparing other types of financial statements for general purpose and presenting such statements in the form of publications in the press, on websites. The German experience is valuable in drawing up a management report. In Italy, the practice of filing accounting policies in the notes to the financial statements should be adopted, and in France, the abbreviated version of the financial statements of small enterprises should be submitted, when the report and comments provide a summary. Despite compliance with
international financial reporting standards, each country has its own history and features of the formation of financial
statements. The composition and content of financial reporting forms depends on the state economic policy.
