Сучасні тенденції міграційних процесів в країнах Європейського Союзу

Abstract

UK: Метою статті є виявлення сучасних тенденцій розвитку міграційних процесів у країнах ЄС, аналіз основних факторів, що впливають на масштаби та характер міграції. Для дослідження використано комплекс методів, зокрема: статистичний та компаративний аналіз, системний підхід. Результати дослідження засвідчили про істотні зміни у період 2010–2025 рр. стосовно перебігу міграційних процесів в ЄС. Виявлено, що основними факторами впливу стали збройні конфлікти, економічна нерівність, демографічні проблеми, а також запит на іноземну робочу силу в окремих секторах економіки. Аналіз показав, що ЄС, зіткнувшись із масштабними викликами, активізував зусилля щодо реформи міграційної та притулкової політики. Теоретична значимість дослідження полягає в ідентифікації ключових трендів трансформації європейського міграційного простору, розкритті моделі взаємодії між наднаціональними та національними рівнями управління міграційними процесами. Практичне значення полягає в можливості використання результатів дослідження для оптимізації національних стратегій управління міграцією. Перспективи подальших досліджень полягають у поглибленому аналізі довгострокових соціально-економічних наслідків масової міграції для приймаючих країн, а також оцінці потенціалу використання цифрових платформ і штучного інтелекту в управлінні міграційними процесами.

EN: The aim of the article is to identify current trends in the development of migration processes in the European Union, analyze the main factors influencing the scale and nature of migration. The study used a range of methods, including statistical analysis to assess the dynamics of migration flows, a comparative method to study the migration policies of individual EU member states, and a systematic analysis method to determine the interrelationships between economic, social and political factors of migration. In addition, a qualitative approach was applied to the analysis of EU strategic documents in the field of migration. The results of the study are as follows. In the period 2010-2025, migration processes in the EU underwent significant changes. Armed conflicts, economic inequality, demographic ageing, and the need for labor in certain sectors of the economy remain the main factors affecting migration. The European Union, faced with large-scale challenges, has stepped up efforts to reform its migration and asylum policies. New tools have been introduced to distribute refugees among member states, external border control has been strengthened, and cooperation with countries of origin and transit has been enhanced. At the same time, not all initiatives have been implemented successfully due to disagreements between member states, especially on issues of solidarity and responsibility. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the identification of key trends in the transformation of the European migration space, the model of interaction between supranational and national levels of government, as well as in the identification of patterns that determine the effectiveness of migration policy implementation. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using the results of the study to develop national migration management strategies, forecast migration risks, improve the effectiveness of integration programs, and optimize mechanisms for burden-sharing between EU member states. Prospects for further research include an in-depth analysis of the long-term socio-economic consequences of mass migration for host countries, an assessment of the effectiveness of integration programs, a study of the impact of migration policy on Euroscepticism, and an analysis of the role of digital platforms and artificial intelligence in managing migration processes.
