Глобальні імперативи зеленої трансформації економіки

Abstract

UK: У статті досліджено феномен зеленої трансформації як сукупність глобальних імперативів, що визначають сучасні напрями структурних змін у світовій економіці. Обґрунтовано, що зелена трансформація виходить за межі екологічної політики та постає системною рамкою, яка перепрошиває інституційні, ринкові та конкуре-нтні механізми розвитку. Проаналізовано еволюцію наукових підходів до розуміння трансформаційних імпера-тивів, їх інституційне закріплення та роль ринків як механізму їх економічної реалізації. Показано, що екологічні вимоги дедалі більше інтерналізуються у міжнародній торгівлі, глобальних ланцюгах доданої вартості та кон-курентних стратегіях, формуючи нові критерії доступу до ринків і капіталу. Окрему увагу приділено наслідкам зеленої трансформації для країн з перехідною економікою. Обґрунтовано, що для України інтеграція зелених імперативів є не факультативним напрямом розвитку, а умовою зміни позицій у глобальній економічній ієрархії та підготовки до поглиблення європейської інтеграції.

EN: The article examines green transformation as a system of global imperatives shaping contemporary structural changes in the world economy. It is argued that green transformation should not be interpreted solely as an environmental policy agenda, but rather as a comprehensive framework that reconfigures institutional arrangements, market mechanisms, and patterns of global competition. The study conceptualizes transformation imperatives as binding economic, technological, and regulatory requirements that define the boundaries of sustainable development trajectories. Methodologically, the article relies on a qualitative analytical approach combining conceptual analysis, a comparative review of academic literature, and institutional analysis of international policy frameworks related to green transformation. The paper analyses the evolution of scholarly approaches to green transformation imperatives and explores their institutionalization through international frameworks, standards, and policy instruments. Particular attention is paid to the role of markets as mechanisms translating institutional imperatives into commercial conditions, thereby internalizing environmental requirements into pricing, trade regimes, and competitive strategies. It is demonstrated that ecological criteria increasingly influence international trade, access to capital, and participation in global value chains, contributing to a reallocation of market positions in favor of technologically adaptive and environmentally responsible actors. The article also addresses the implications of green transformation for transition economies. It is argued that for Ukraine, the integration of green imperatives represents not an optional development path but a prerequisite for improving its position in the global economic hierarchy and advancing European integration. Green transformation is therefore interpreted as a strategic test of institutional capacity and structural adaptability, determining the ability of national economies to move from reactive compliance toward proactive participation in emerging models of sustainable growth.
